I enter the garden there are 34 people. 4 alive people and 30 dead people. 5 you walked into the room which added 1 + 34 = 35 then you take away 30 from 35 = 5. This is because the murderous rampage took place in the backyard, not the garden.
I enter the garden and there are 34 people in the backyard. Here, we could even say that “30” is a person’s name, meaning there are 33 people still alive. ‘you enter a bedroom’ riddle.
The riddle has left it ambiguous whether the garden and the backyard is the same place. The second and third statement says “there are 34 people, you kill 30”. So after including you, there are a total 35 people.
You enter a bedroom there are 34 people. Did you answer this riddle correctly? It then says “there are 34 people” who knows where but you cannot assume they are in the garden.
You killed 30 out of the 33 other people, remain 3 + you = 4that's the easy logic to it, the same way 999 out of 1000 people will look at the question. As the question didn't ask us to number the people who are alive, and as the dead bodies are still present in the room, the total won't be changed. Here if you read the statement carefully, it didn’t say the other 34 were in the bedroom.
Therefore the answer is not 4 people. It is no was said that the garden and the backyard are the same. So let us assume that “i enter the garden” means there is 1 person in the garden and there are 34 people in the backyard.
